Cancer Care Services provides help and hope to cancer patients and their families through financial, emotional, spiritual and social support.
Cancer Care Services (CCS) provides support to anyone impacted by cancer living in Tarrant, Parker or Hood Counties. Services include:
- Financial assistance for qualifying cancer patients: The following financial support is available: cancer prescriptions, food supplements, medical equipment, supplies, transportation reimbursements, COBRA insurance payments, dental assistance, and emergency funds;
- Emotional support for everyone: Free, one-on-one family or group counseling;
- Social support for everyone: Free, general or specialized support groups, art therapy, children’s play expression, children’s day camp, yoga, massage therapy, educational seminars and other seasonal social activities;
- Spiritual support for everyone: Free, one-on-one counseling, Bible studies, prayer ministry, and support groups.
The financial support of local foundations, businesses, individuals and United Ways gives Cancer Care Services the means to serve cancer patients. CCS receives no federal funds or insurance reimbursements.
