About Cancer Care Services
Since 1946, Cancer Care Services (CCS), a United Way organization, has been dedicated to providing services to cancer patients and their families. From emotional support and counseling to treatment-related needs, CCS works within a network of community agencies and medical suppliers to provide patients and caregivers with the support they need.
Financial services are determined by the recommendations of the treating physician. The level of financial services provided is based on a sliding scale determined by household size and income. There are also a number of social, emotional and spiritual services available to patients, their family and caregivers at no charge, regardless of income.
The financial support of local foundations, businesses, individuals and United Way gives Cancer Care Services the means to serve cancer patients. CCS receives no federal funds or insurance reimbursements. |
