Matching Gifts
Programs through which each donation made by an employee to a charity is matched by the employer. Ask your employer if Cancer Care Services is approved by your company for matching gifts.
Purchase an Engraved Brick
Purchase an engraved brick and honor a loved one. Your purchase helps lay the foundation for future services. Your brick is placed in the Caring Place Courtyard - a landscaped terrace that is a place of solitude, conversation and reflection for those who visit Cancer Care Services. Download the form here.
Buy Groceries
Tom Thumb: When you shop at Tom Thumb, you can use your Reward Card to have Tom Thumb donate an amount equal to 1 percent of your total purchase to Cancer Care Services. Nothing is added to your bill. Fill out the Good Neighbor section and top part of a Reward Card Application. Indicate Cancer Care Services’ #1032 and return the application to the store’s courtesy booth. Tom Thumb takes care of the rest.
Kroger: Participate in the program by using your Kroger Plus Card and the customer letter which you can download here. Kroger will contribute a percentage of your eligible purchases to the Cancer Care Services. Nothing is added to your bill.
Donate Stock or Surface/Mineral Rights
Send a letter to your broker authorizing the transfer of a specific quantity of shares of corporate stock, bonds or mutual funds as a charitable donation from your account. For information about how to donate surface/mineral rights, call 817-921-0653.
Leave a Legacy
By making bequests and other "planned gifts," you can continue to help cancer patients, survivors, their caregivers and families. Gifts large and small are important.
Charitable giving is not only for the wealthy! Depending on the current tax laws, leaving a gift to charity in your will may significantly reduce the estate tax burden on your heirs. For some people, a gift of property or life insurance affords a practical means of making a significant gift. Other planned gifts can provide you with an income stream during your life and still benefit Cancer Care Services.
Consult with a financial advisor or attorney to learn how giving may actually benefit your family after you’re gone. Your compassion for cancer patients can live on forever. To request more information or specialized language for a will or trust, call 817-921-0653.
