Services CCS Offers
All financial services are offered on a sliding-scale that is based upon household size and income. Please call 817-921-0653 and ask to speak with a Social Worker/Navigator for details.
Restrictions apply to all financial services and programs:
Prescription Medications: A monthly allowance is available for approved cancer-related prescriptions.
COBRA Health Insurance Premiums: Assistance with premium payments for COBRA or medical health insurance is provided for a limited time to cancer patients who are unable to work.
Nutritional Supplements: Nutritional supplements are provided at no cost or at a reduced fee for cancer patients.
Transportation: Cancer Care Services provides a transportation reimbursement allowance for cancer patients to get to and from treatment.
Medical Supplies: A monthly allowance is available for cancer-related medical supplies. In addition, limited medical supplies may be provided at no cost, or as a loan.
Medical Equipment: Cancer Care Services will lend durable medical equipment, such as hospital beds, walkers, wheelchairs, or shower chairs, at no cost to our clients when prescribed by the treating physician. Oxygen assistance is also available.
Dental Assistance: Volunteer dentists perform limited dental work prior to the beginning of treatment when required.
